It’s been so long since the original that perhaps a sequel isn’t in your mind, but it’s on its way anyways! Liam Hemsworth has been reportedly announced to be starring in the Independence Day sequel. Liam Hemsworth is best known for his role as Gale Hawthorne in the Hunger Games trilogy, and got his start doing obscure TV Shows, but now he’s going to be appearing as the leading character for a major flick, the protagonist of the new Independence Day which is currently known as ID Forever. Jeff Goldblum already announced that the sequel was in the works late last year, but now we’re getting more information about it, it’s time to start getting hyped! And because he was the one to announce it, Jeff Goldblum will most likely be reprising his role as the computer programmer who saved the day last time with a computer virus. Additionally, Bill Pullman, the actor who played the ex-navy pilot President of the United States, will also be returning to the film which will be great, although Will Smith apparently will not be in the cast, unfortunately. This whole concept is exciting and I cannot wait to hear more about it!
